Strong, English daguerreian jewelry portrait of a handsome dashing gentleman. There is no denying his overall presence. Posed in a thought-provoking manner he exudes confidence.  His large, bushy head of hair and dark eyebrows highlight his dark eyes, giving him a sultry yet studious appearance. The pin measures approximately 1 ½” x 1 7/8” and the image is in very good condition with some tarnish. The small spots seem to be on the underside of the glass which could use a cleaning. Besides the large pin there is a clasp for wearing on a chain if so desired.
